Zonda Supreme

Zonda reeds, from Argentina, are fashioned from cane which is grown in a unique microclimate in the foothills of the Andes Mountains, and take their name from the hot wind that races through the nearby Zonda Pass. This wind whips the cane back and forth, strengthening its fibers. The rows of cane are spaced far apart with vegetables growing in between them to allow for plenty of sunlight. These reeds are distributed and overseen by the prestigious Powell Flute Company. The RTF (Ready To Finish) is a pre-cut blank correlating to about a #6 reed strength. The tips are cut straight across so you must also shape the tips. * NOTE: Strengths #5 and RTF are only available for Clarinet.

Made from the same cane as the Supreme reeds, the Classico Clarinet reeds feature a thinner, more traditional profile then the Supreme line.
